Katy, the youngest in our family, is an active student and an integral part of our team.  When she is not swinging on the rope swing over our brook, or playing a game of rounders with guests' children, you can find her baking cakes and biscuits for campers to raise money for charities such as the Midlands Air Ambulance and Cancer Research. 

Oh, we almost forgot our animal family.  We have 2 egg-laying hens who are very likely to pop down and see what you are having for breakfast.  There's also Oreo and Toffee - our 2 lop rabbits, and last but never least, Luis.  He’s our fun-loving Vizsla Chocolate Labrador cross who just wants to play with everyone, human or animal. 

We bought Elmsdale in 2017 having been camping all over the country in our motorhome for the previous 15 years.  We had a vision to make it a destination for campers to enjoy, based on what we loved from a campsite.  The Wye Valley was an area we'd visited many times over the years, and we simply loved it. 

Duncan is a joiner with a passion for perfection (well almost), and enjoys nothing more than making sure everything is working well and looking good.  Because of him the flowers are spectacular in the summer.  He’s also very handy when it comes to helping customers with all sorts of things, and can often be seen buzzing round the site on the tractor delivering chimeneas and firewood to guests. 

Karen is the chatty one and loves talking with customers whether they're booking, looking for something local, or checking everything is as the guests would expect.  She can also be seen petting every pooch that visits!  

There is so much to see and do in the local area, we really hope you will come and stay with us. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
